3. Project Process
Project Brief: All projects begin with a comprehensive project brief submission. This brief serves as the foundation for project scope and requirements.
Payment: Projects officially commence upon receipt of full payment or agreed-upon deposit. Payment schedules are specified in individual project agreements.
Communication: All project communication occurs through our designated platform. No phone calls or meetings are required unless specifically arranged.
Timeline: Project timelines are estimates based on current workload. Rush delivery options are available for additional fees.
4. Payment Terms
Pricing: All prices are quoted in EUR and are subject to change without notice. Prices are locked in upon project brief submission.
Payment Methods: We accept payments through our designated payment processors. All payments are processed securely.
Late Payments: Late payments may result in project delays or suspension. Outstanding balances are subject to late fees.
Refunds: Refund policies are determined on a case-by-case basis. No refunds are provided for completed work.
5. Intellectual Property
Client Ownership: Upon full payment, clients own the final deliverables including custom code, designs, and content created specifically for their project.
Developer Rights: Jack Bikar Dev retains the right to use project work in portfolios and marketing materials, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Third-Party Assets: Clients are responsible for ensuring they have rights to any assets (images, fonts, etc.) provided for their projects.
Open Source: Projects may incorporate open-source components. Licenses for these components remain unchanged.
6. Revisions and Changes
Included Revisions: Each package includes a specified number of revision rounds. Additional revisions may incur additional charges.
Scope Changes: Significant changes to project scope may require additional time and cost. These will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding.
Feedback Timeline: Clients are expected to provide feedback within reasonable timeframes to maintain project momentum.
7. Project Delivery
Staging Environment: Projects are delivered on a staging environment for review before final deployment.
Final Delivery: Upon client approval, projects are deployed to production and final files are delivered.
Hosting: Hosting setup and configuration is included in project packages. Ongoing hosting costs are the responsibility of the client.
Documentation: All projects include basic documentation for maintenance and future development.
8. Warranty and Support
Warranty Period: All projects include a 7-day warranty period for bug fixes and minor adjustments.
Support: Post-launch support is available for a limited period. Extended support may be purchased separately via a Care Plan.
Third-Party Issues: Issues caused by third-party services, hosting providers, or client modifications are not covered under warranty.
9. Limitation of Liability
Jack Bikar Dev's liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services.
10. Termination
Client Termination: Clients may terminate projects with written notice. Partial refunds may be provided for incomplete work.
Developer Termination: Jack Bikar Dev reserves the right to terminate projects for non-payment, harassment, or violation of these terms.
Post-Termination: Upon termination, clients receive all completed work and source files for work paid for.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes will be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
